I have been
married for 49 years to Alyce (Ericksen) THS’57 and we raised
our four children in Tottenville. All of our children are THS
Alumni. After 26 years on the NYC Fire Department, I retired
and moved to the Poconos where we had been vacationing for many
years. After 10 years, we moved to Concordia, an active adult
golf community in Monroe Township, New Jersey. We have lived
here on the 3rd fairway, for 4 years now. I enjoy
golfing, participating in community activities and puttering
around the house and yard.
I also enjoy our nine
grandsons and our step-granddaughter, ages 25 years down to 5
years old. Two of our four children with their families live
here in New Jersey. One family lives in Virginia and the other
family is in Utah. Our six youngest grandsons live here in New
Jersey so we get to spend lots of time with them. My
grandchildren think I’m the oldest thing in the world and after
an hour with them, I believe it, too. |
