Upon graduation I worked for Home Insurance Co in lower Manhattan.  After a few months I received a job offer from the U.S. Navy.  I began working as a civilian for the Navy in the Naval Reserve Payroll Office, then Civilian Personnel, Fire Marshall’s., Ship Operations, Chief of Staff and eventually Administrative Assistant  to the Commandant, Third Naval District.  During this time I participated in the organization and planning of the International Naval Reviews and the first Operation Sail as well as other events taking place in New York City.  Upon consolidation of this command with others on the East Coast I worked with the Naval Investigative Services Office Headquarters in Manhattan as an Administrative Assistant.  Upon my retirement I moved home to care for my parents and my Aunt.  Four years ago I moved to an “active” adult community “The Meadows of Lake Ridge” in southern New Jersey.

During the years I have traveled throughout the U.S. and have been to Europe on two occasions.  There are still a few places I would love to go.

Am busy in my community as a member of our Travel Committee planning day trips, bowling and am a member of a dance group which entertains at local nursing homes.
