My first step after graduating from THS was to Staten Island CC, majoring in Electrical Technology. In 1962, Pat Keune and I married. Twenty three years and five children later, I was living in Manalapan NJ and working with  AT&T Large Business Systems in Manhattan. Pat and I divorced. More good fortune came my way soon after when I met my present wife, Joan, We have now been happily married for 20 years. When folks ask how long I have been married, I ask ‘which time’?

In 1993, after many changes at the ‘telephone’ company and over 30 years of service, I retired and we moved to a quiet little town on the West coast of Florida called Venice. There we lived the ‘life in Paradise’ as the locals say.  In 2006 we decided to move closer to our 7 children (Joan has 2). Since we already had a beach house on the NC coast, we decided to look in that area. Just this past May, we moved into our new home on the mainland of Holden Beach. We see more of our children now, including our 8 grandchildren.

Life is good, as we like to say. We have been very fortunate, even through the trials and tribulations. I look forward to seeing you all in September,
