It’s been quite awhile since I wrote anything for THS – so here goes!

In the yearbook, my SECRET DESIRE was to marry a Marine – my guy was in the Coast Guard.  Don and I were married two years after Graduation, well on our way to kids and family life.  In 1961 our first daughter, Michele, was born – in1963 along came her sister Sharon – my greatest accomplishments!!!  I never went to College, but I excelled in “MOHTERHOOD and STAY-AT-HOME WIFE”!

My husband Don was an Electrical Engineer.  He worked in Oyster Creek Nuclear Power in New Jersey.  We lived in Toms River.  From there we moved to Vermont for a slower paced life.  He worked in Vermont Yankee Nuclear for 17 years when he passed away.  We were married for 32 years and have two grandchildren; Jessica (16) and Grant (13).  They live in Ohio.

I work part time for daughter, Sharon, who has an insurance adjusting business along with her husband, Ed.  You could say I’m the “World’s Best File Clerk”.

Eleven years ago, I met another wonderful man – Peter Cross.  He is an Electrician also – I guess I need someone to light up my life!  We have so much in common and have a lot of fun together.  We love to travel and enjoy life, family and friends.
