I have been married 49 years to Mike Ryan and we have 3 sons, Michael, Kevin and Christopher. We are the proud grandparents of 13 Grandchildren (No. 14 due in December, 2007) ranging in age from 20 to 7 months. After graduation I went to work for a Steamship Company as a Teletype operator and then for the Lackawanna Railroad as a statistical typist. Left work to raise the family. Went back to work in 1973 for a local bank. When the bank was purchased by another Lending Institution I left and went to work for a Law Firm on Staten Island, doing real estate closings. I worked there for 5 years and then left and went to work for Richmond County Savings Bank as Vice President in charge of Secondary Marketing. Retired from the Bank in 2002. Mike and I enjoy traveling and spending lots of time with our grandchildren. We enjoy sports, especially softball. I was a softball pitcher for many years and now manage a Co-ed softball team which I played on originally but now I just coach. I would still like to play but physically I can’t even though mentally I can. This year celebrating our 50th high school reunion and next year celebrating 50 years of marriage. Life is good!!! |
