Ernie died at Southern Ocean County Hospital, NJ On January 6, (either 2004 or 2005)

He was born in MA and resided in Staten Island and Surf City, NJ before settling in Manahawkin, NJ.

He retired as a firefighter with the NYFD after serving for 24 years.

Ernie married the former Arlene Benitez (Class of '56) and they had two daughters and a son.

Ernie is also survived by two brothers, two sisters and six grandchildren.
