I joined the US Marine Corps in
January 1957 and served 3 years. Married Lois Walker (class of
1959) in 1960. I worked on Wall Street for 36 years. In 1974 I
became a member of the New York Stock Exchange. I worked for Dean
Witter for 32 years until retirement in 1997. In 2003 Lois and I
moved to The Villages Florida. The move has been a wonderful choice
for both the lifestyle available, and the numerous friends. For
many years I enjoyed fishing both out in the open water off Staten
Island and New Jersey, and lake fishing up in the Poconos while Lois
and I owned a vacation home there. Now I have taken up playing golf
in Florida, and enjoy the year round sunshine. "You don’t have to
shovel heat." When asked how I am, I always respond "At The Top Of
My Game" saying ‘That’s the Game of Life – Which Is Much Easier Than
Golf”. We have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. |
