The picture was drawn by our daughter, Katie (18) as a "September 11th project" for her college art class. The idea was to put your thoughts and feelings about the events on paper. The project was started while watching the New York Yankees play in the world series (hence the rather large baseball).

Katie was born in New York, so her feelings in this drawing are quite thoughtful. My favorite parts are the 5 circles in the lower right hand corner representing all the heroes/rescue workers, the shadow of the Trade Center, and the design of the WTC as the background (my 13 year old and I visited the WTC on our visit to NYC in June ... she thought the lower portion of the buildings' design looked like forks).

Katie is a student at our local community college, The College of the Canyons, Valencia, California.
